Many museums already utilize AR technology in their exhibits for people to experience, but often times these extra interactions distract the visitor from the actual artwork. Museums would use AR to create extra games, interactions, etc. but Visionary Museum will use AR differently to not distract, but to enhance the artwork. Within 2024, around 65% of frequent visitors are 60+ years old while only 9% of frequent visitors are 40 and under. Using AR and other tech will bring in a younger audience as a new experience while helping the older audience with understanding the artwork without reading the tiny paragraph next to each art piece.
